The Practice Introduces a New Appointment System

General Practice is currently under immense pressure. It is underfunded and overused. At Glengormley Practice we still want to offer a high level of patient care, however, in order to do this we must change our appointment system.

From Monday 3 April 2017, the appointment system will operate as follows:-

 Same day appointments—mornings only.

Routine appointments— booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

Telephone consultation appointments—available on request,   (please note that these are limited)

Specialist Clinics (referred to by a GP) will be held on a Tuesday afternoon for Contraceptive Implants, Dermatology, Diabetes and Joint Injections.

Specialist Appointments will be held on Tuesday afternoons for 8 week assessments and HGV/PSV/Fostering Medicals.

Please remember

1 appointment, 1 patient

Each appointment is only 10 minutes.

Car Parking

The Practice, along with other tenants on the site has entered into an agreement with Smart Parking in an attempt to free up car parking spaces for patients/customers.  The maximum time period set for parking is one hour.  Patients must be aware of the time occupied in a car parking space as the Practice will not take responsibility for charges levied,  However, if you are delayed for a clinical season, please inform the receptionist BEFORE the hour expired and we will notofy the authorities.

The Practice cannot be responsible for parking charge notices.
