The aim of the Better Days Community Pain Support Programme is to help people living with chronic pain to learn other ways to help manage their pain and improve their quality of life, and reduce their reliance on medication.
Participant self-reported outcomes from the programmes include (from week 1 to week 10):
• 55% reduction in ‘extreme’ pain, 33% reduction in ‘moderate’ pain.
• 65% reduction in ‘high’ reliance on medication
• Increase in use of non-pharmacological techniques from 33% to 73%
